Great list!

But all I want is still some added features to the despotify client, like support for playlists and being able to create own queuelist etc. A great ncurses client would be great indeed.

Hi, I installed despotify on my opensuse-11.2-x64 machine. Great development, can’t wait for a GUI

I can login but a search produces an error.

Here’s the log:
(08:22:54) Initialized audio output
(08:23:06) thread_loop(): PAUSE, sleeping
(08:23:06) Logged in as fridafredr@ap2.spotify.com:4070 (SE)
(08:23:12) Searching for:
(08:23:12) Error when searching

Since the time of search and time of error are the same, I assume that it doesn’t even try to search at the server side, but fails at the client side.

Dere må jo ha lagt ned en helt latterlig mengde arbeid for å få dette til, all cred! Et par spørsmål jeg gjerne skulle sett svar på;
- Kunne dere kommentert litt likheter og forskjeller mellom despotify og libspotify? Hva synes dere om libspotify?
- Fungerer despotify med “offline mode”?

I just packaged despotify for fremantle. It is in the extras-devel repo, so if you have that in you /etc/apt/sources.list you should now be able to do a simple:

sudo apt-get install despotify
